We've always been into all kinds of music.

When Ricky, our old guitarist, left town to pursue a life by the seaside with his beautiful family, we knew that if we were to continue, it would have to be something new.

No half-measures, no re-trudging old ground and pale imitations. Something different. Something to challenge ourselves. A new way of expression and creativity. James picked up his Laptop and began writing beats for the first time since his 20's. He was initially nervous to show Adrian and Luke, but they were on-board from day one.

18 months of experimentation, starting from scratch and building back up. For a long time we were trying to be too clever. Too up our own arse. Too afraid of doing what we do best: writing Pop Bangers. Once we got over ourselves, it started to come together.

Which brings us to here. 'Live. Laugh. Leyland' is a statement of intent. A blueprint of what's to come, and us finding our way again. We hope you enjoy it.
